Our menus are based on the USDA Traditional Food Based Menu and are rotated over a seven week cycle with some adjustments made according to the availability of products and other factors.

Child Nutrition/Food Services professionals employed by LYSD must have a high school diploma or its equivalent (GED) and have an Alaska Food Services Work Card.
Each of our locations is required to have one manager on-site that is qualified as a Food Services Protection Manager (CFPM).
