Brian Krosschell has been working with LYSD for the past 5 years in different capacities.  His current position is the Director of Curriculum.  Brian started teaching in the Bering Strait School District, living in Shaktoolik. After three years in BSSD he transferred to the Chugach School District, living in Whittier.  Before moving to Mountain Village and working for LYSD, he worked with many Alaskan School districts as a consultant in the standards based education system.
